Do What You Love!

Pick activities you enjoy doing and adapt them to fit your lifestyle. For cardio, remember there’s options like running, biking, swimming, rowing, plyometrics, the elliptical and/or other gym machines available. You can also do power walks or walks in general. Try a Sunday River walk or bike ride with friends, or try walking your dog on a new route. Take a zumba, yoga, pilates, ropes, dance, or stretch class. Remember, there is no bad way to get exercise just add activity into your daily life. Falling in love with the gym is easier for some people than for others, but try and go in with a positive attitude. We all start somewhere. Don’t let the gym and other gym goers intimidate you. Keep it slow and always focus on form. Once you start seeing results you’ll become addicted! Remember you can always adapt things to fit your life, do what works for you. If you don’t like a class setting try home workouts instead.
